- How Angel Numbers Changed My Life...
Let me tell you the story of how I came across the concept of angel numbers for the first time.
It was a pivotal moment in my life, breaking through my shell of scepticism after a profound spiritual awakening during the COVID lockdowns.
Picture a 19-year-old, fresh into exploring psychedelics and weed, weaving through the complexities of an unconventional reality.
It all began with a stroll through the bustling Birmingham city centre with my girlfriend.
The time blinked on my phone screen: 22:22. Aesthetic, I thought, but merely a coincidence, or so I believed.
Little did I know, those numbers would start haunting my reality in the days to come.
EMBRACING THE UNCONVENTIONAL
Amidst my skepticism, the days unfolded with an eerie symphony of repeated numbers—222, 111—popping up everywhere I turned.
Denying it as coincidence only intensified the phenomenon, from the clock striking 22:22 after a nap to the oven reading 11:11 as I grabbed a snack, the universe seemed to be playing a numerical game with me.
Curiosity finally got the better of me, and I succumbed to the allure of a Google search:
"Why do I keep seeing repeated numbers everywhere?"
Little did I know, this search would lead me down the rabbit hole of angel numbers and numerology, a journey that would become a pillar of my mental and material success.
ANGEL NUMBERS & SYNCHRONICITIES
But what are angel numbers?
They're messages from the higher order of the universe, a form of synchronicity as coined by Carl Jung (the GOAT of psychology.
Synchronicities are meaningful coincidences that go beyond chance, where external events align with internal thoughts or experiences.
Angel numbers, like 111 or 222, are understood through the energetic signature each number carries—a vibrational frequency unique to itself.
These numbers deliver messages, urging us to trust our intuition, embrace change, or reflect on our higher purpose.

PERSONAL JOURNEY WITH SYNCHRONICITIES
Intrigued by what I found, I decided to conduct a psychological experiment on myself.
For a week, I observed and noted the angel numbers that crossed my path.
One night, amidst a few drinks with my girlfriend, I declared my desire to incorporate acting into my content, specifically creating skits on spiritual topics.
As I passionately shared this vision, my eyes unintentionally landed on the oven clock displaying 01:11. A sign, I thought.
The subsequent months unfolded like a surreal dream—My TikTok followers soaring from 200k to 1M followers within a month, a journey marked by the loss of my job and delusional optimism.

THE PSYCHOLOGICAL PHENOMENA OF CONFIRMATION BIAS
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not delusional. I know this sounds like crazy talk.
I’m not one to blindly adopt beliefs without dissecting them from all perspectives.
This all works through the psychological phenomenon of pattern recognition.
I’m sure you’ve heard of the confirmation bias phenomenon:
the tendency to search for, interpret, favour, and recall information in a way that confirms or supports one's prior beliefs or values.
This happens through a section of our brain called The Reticular Activating System (RAS).
It’s a bundle of nerves that sits in your brainstem and its job is to act as a filter to the things we experience in life and ONLY store things that will validate our beliefs.
I believe there are 2 ways to look at this which will determine the way your life pans out:
The Sceptic’s view
The sceptic’s view will say that you keep seeing “angel numbers” because you’ve programmed your pattern-seeking brain to subconsciously look for them everywhere you go, therefore it holds no significant meaning or “message” from the “divine”. That’s completely valid and technically correct.
The Creator’s view
However, the conscious creator’s view understands an essential law of nature:
The Law of Correspondence, which says that our external experience is secondary to our inner experience. As above, so below. As within, so without.
They understand that our whole lives are created by the subconscious patterns we repeat every single day.
These patterns will either serve us or hold us back.
Therefore, in the creator’s view, if you hold negative beliefs, you’re only going to focus on the bad and invite more problems into your life.
This understanding makes it their mission to:
Reprogramme their RAS
Become aware of their thought patterns
and then consciously take action steps to break the negative beliefs and support the positive ones.
Do you see how both the sceptic and the creator are technically correct, but one is optimising the function of their psychological systems to serve them, while the other is choosing to be a victim of it?
This was the crossroads I faced when choosing to adopt numerology into my worldview.
Sure, it may be just a result of my pattern-seeking meat computer, but when I have the opportunity to turn an external experience into a sign for encouragement and growth, why would I shut it down with dogmatic pessimism?
I already have everything else in my external experience designed to make me operate at the lowest functional level possible.
A society that is slowly consuming itself to extinction, constantly telling you to want more, be more and do more. What would happen if I chose to optimise my beliefs to serve me instead of hinder me? Like the rich folks do.
Would I seem delusionally optimistic to others? Maybe. But I would definitely be more fulfilled and joyful than they are in their miserable, pessimistic existence. So why should I listen to them?
TL;DR - We severely underplay the role of belief in changing the outcomes in our life.
UNVEILING NUMEROLOGY'S ORIGINS
Pythagoras, the smart ass of the ancient greeks.
To unravel the origins of numerology, we must delve into Ancient Civilizations, where numbers held mystical significance.
Pythagoras, the Greek philosopher, played a pivotal role in formalising and popularising numerology. Yes I’m sure you’re familiar with Pythagoras theorem that they love to teach in school…
Yet I bet they didn’t teach you that he had a belief in this idea called “the transmigration of souls”.
He thought that there was a soul beyond this physical vessel and that we’re put here to learn a certain, lesson, yet if we don’t learn that lesson… We’re set to incarnate over and over again.
Pythagoras, who lived around 570–495 BCE, founded a religious and philosophical school that emphasized the mystical properties of numbers.
He believed that numbers underlie the structure of the universe and that they have spiritual significance. It’s a philosophy that states that all things carry a unique vibration, including human beings.
His belief in the transmigration of souls and the interconnectedness of numbers with the universe laid the groundwork for various numerological systems such as the life path number.
Amidst the skepticism that often dismisses metaphysical concepts, I urge readers to open their minds to alternative perspectives. Our ancestors, architects of wonders like the pyramids, embraced numerology and astrology as valid lenses through which to perceive reality.
It's time to break free from the shackles of dogma and explore the metaphysical side of our existence.
LIFE PATH NUMBERS: A PERSONAL BLUEPRINT
The concept of Life Path Numbers is said to be a key element in understanding one's focus and challenges in this lifetime.
Derived from your birth date, these numbers provide insights into inherent challenges and qualities.
In a brief overview, we explore Life Path Numbers 1-9 and touch upon master numbers (11, 22, 33), each carrying unique attributes.

Life Path Number 1:

Characteristics: Individuals with a Life Path Number of 5 are adventurous, adaptable, and seek freedom. They thrive on change and variety.
Life Path Number 6:
Attributes: Nurturing, harmony, responsibility.
Characteristics: Those with a Life Path Number of 6 are nurturing, responsible, and value harmony. They often find fulfillment in caring for others.
Life Path Number 7:
Attributes: Wisdom, introspection, spirituality.
Characteristics: Individuals with a Life Path Number of 7 are introspective, analytical, and inclined towards spiritual pursuits. They seek knowledge and understanding.
Life Path Number 8:
Attributes: Success, abundance, leadership.
Characteristics: Those with a Life Path Number of 8 are often associated with success, abundance, and effective leadership. They are driven to achieve their goals.

Attributes: Compassion, humanitarianism, wisdom.
Characteristics: Individuals with a Life Path Number of 9 are compassionate, humanitarian, and wise. They are often motivated by a desire to contribute to the greater good.
Master Numbers in Pythagorean Numerology:
In addition to the single-digit Life Path Numbers (1-9), Pythagorean numerology recognizes three master numbers: 11, 22, and 33.
Master numbers are considered highly powerful and carry intensified spiritual vibrations.
Individuals with a master number as their Life Path, Destiny, or Expression number are believed to have unique challenges and opportunities for personal growth.
Master Number 11:
Attributes: Intuition, spiritual insight, illumination.
Characteristics: Individuals with the master number 11 are often highly intuitive and possess a heightened sense of spiritual awareness. They may experience challenges in grounding their visions but are seen as inspirational and visionary.
Master Number 22:
Attributes: Practical idealism & manifestation.
Characteristics: Often referred to as the "Master Builder," those with the master number 22 are believed to have the ability to turn dreams into reality. They are practical, strategic thinkers with the potential for great achievements and the manifestation of grand ideas.
Master Number 33:
Attributes: Compassion and healing.
Characteristics: Known as the "Master Teacher," individuals with the master number 33 are considered compassionate, nurturing, and deeply connected to spiritual wisdom. They are often driven by a desire to uplift and heal others, embodying a sense of universal love and understanding.
